Hawkesbury City Council will lift the media ban imposed on Hawkesbury Radio effective 1 July 2026.
Hawkesbury Radio recently engaged in productive discussions with Hawkesbury City Council regarding the ban, and Council is satisfied with the steps Hawkesbury Radio have undertaken both in response to recent actions by individual Hawkesbury Radio staff members and to protect against the risk of repeat instances in the future.
Hawkesbury City Council appreciates Hawkesbury Radio's proactive attitude and for participating in vigorous and constructive discussion. Council looks forward to welcoming their staff and representatives to future Council meetings and events.
