Lake Macquarie City Council
The NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service in conjunction with the Rural Fire Service are planning on undertaking a hazard reduction burn in Catherine Hill Bay between Wednesday 3 and Saturday 6 September 2025, weather permitting.
The controlled burn will be approximately 214ha in size and is in the Munmorah State Conservation Area, south of Catherine Hill Bay.
