A 35-year-old man has a 12-month long lesson ahead of him after he was pulled over by police for drink driving in Nar Nar Goon early this morning, Victoria Police say.

Pakenham police intercepted the man’s Mitsubishi Triton ute on Main Street about 1am.

The man was breath tested and allegedly returned a reading of .121 per cent.

His licence was immediately suspended for 12 months and his car was impounded for a month and will cost him $972 to get it back.

He is expected to be charged on summons with drink driving.
