He would lose his licence - if he had one

Brimbank Highway Patrol members were checking speeds in Cairnlea last night when the blistering speed of a white sedan caught their attention, Victoria Police say.

The Honda sedan was intercepted after being clocked travelling at 157km/h in a 70km/h zone on Station Road about 11.30pm.

The 22-year-old driver, who has never held a licence, provided a positive preliminary breath test before recording a reading of 0.156% BAC on an evidentiary breath test.

The St Albans man was charged with speeding, driving at a speed dangerous, drink driving, unlicensed driving and using an unregistered vehicle.

He has been bailed to appear at Sunshine Magistrates Court on 29 August, 2017.
