A Heidelberg man who's played the same numbers for years on his TattsLotto ticket never thought they were special, until they delivered him a $1.5 million win in the weekend's draw.
The Victorian held one of the four division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4603 on Saturday 30 August 2025. Each division one winning entry scored $1,569,487.31.
"I did check my ticket this morning. It's pretty unbelievable!" the winner exclaimed when speaking to us.
"I've been playing the same for years, can't remember why I picked them. They've never felt special - usually, I just get an email saying I've won $8 or $9.
"But when I got an email this morning, it was different."
With $1.5 million heading to his bank account, the Victorian is considering a few home upgrades.
"We'll probably get a new house, but we'll fix up the old one and sell it first," he said.
"It's shaken up my Sunday, that's for sure."
The man's winning marked 9-game entry was purchased at Warringal Lotto, Shop 32, Warringal Shopping Centre, 56 Burgundy Street, Heidelberg.
