Approximately 1pm the Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked to attend Lake Meadowbank for an injured wakesurfer, Tasmania Police say.
The 53-year-old female from Hobart sustained a serious leg injury whilst wakesurfing on the lake. She was treated on the vessel at the location, then taken to the helicopter where she was flown to Hobart in a stable condition.
