We're updating out Disability Inclusion Action Plan and want to find new ways to make the shire a better, more inclusive place to live, work and play.
To create the best possible plan, we need to hear from people with disability, carers, service providers and interest parties about their experiences and ideas for change.
The plan will be developed to meet NSW Government guidelines and focus on four key areas:
- Developing positive community attitudes towards disability
- Creating liveable communities
- Increasing access to meaningful employment
- Improving access to mainstream services through improved systems and processes.
