Help sought to find man missing from Surry Hills

Police are looking for help from the public to find a man reported missing from Surry Hills.

Jonathon Munro, who is also known as Matthew Campbell, aged 34, was last seen 4:15am on Thursday 29 September 2022 at Eddy Avenue near Pitt Street, Haymarket.

Officers attached to Surry Hills Police Area Command commenced inquiries after receiving a missing person report yesterday (Thursday 6 October 2022).

Jonathon is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, 180cm tall and 95kg, with a medium build, black hair and a beard. When last seen Jonathon was wearing a black hooded jumper, black adidas-type shorts with white stripes on the side, and a beaded bracelet on his right hand.

Anyone who has seen Jonathon, or knows his whereabouts, is asked to call Surry Hills Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
