Heritage Grants Awarded

The NT Government has awarded its latest round of Heritage Grants. The NT Heritage Grants Program helps conserve declared heritage sites in private hands. It provides funding for conservation work to buildings and other structures, Aboriginal archaeological sites, and places of social or natural significance. Research and promotional projects are also eligible.

This year seven projects spread across the Territory have received funding. They are the Church of Christ the King in Tennant Creek; St Mary's Chapel in Alice Springs; the Old Police Station in Borroloola; the Djomi Museum in Maningrida; Chapman House in Alice Springs; the Araluen Homestead in Alice Springs; and the 7 Mile Control Tower at Alice Springs Airport.
