High range drink driving charge at Vincent, QLD

Police have charged a woman after she was allegedly found driving over six times the legal limit, Queensland Police say.

It will be alleged at 12.25pm police were called to Nathan Street at Vincent in relation to the manner of driving of a Toyota Corolla.

Police conducted a breath test and the driver provided a positive result and was transported to Kirwan Police Station for further testing.

The driver of the vehicle was subsequently served with a notice to appear for driving whilst under the influence of liquor after she allegedly returned a breath alcohol concentration of 0.354 percent.

The 28-year-old Biloela woman is expected to appear at the Townsville Magistrates Court on April 12.
