Just after 12.30am (Sunday 15 March 2020), officers from Burwood Police Area Command were called to Parramatta Road, near Concord Road, following reports a Volkswagen Tiguan SUV had crashed into a pole.
The driver, a 26-year-old woman, and two female passengers were not injured.
Police will allege the driver returned a positive roadside breath test and she was arrested and taken to Burwood Police Station, where she returned a blood-alcohol reading of 0.202.
The woman has now been charged with high-range PCA and is due to appear before Burwood Local Court on Monday 20 April 2020.
