High risk missing woman, Meridan Plains

Police are appealing for urgent public assistance to help locate a 78-year-old woman missing from Meridan Plains since this morning.

Anne-Marie Kearney (pictured below) was last seen at a Lacebark Street address in Meridan Plains this morning at around 8.30am.

Between 8.30am and 4pm, Anne-Marie has left the address on foot in an unknown direction and has not been seen or heard from since.

Police and Anne-Marie's family are concerned for her welfare as she suffers from a medical condition causing confusion.

Anne-Marie recently moved to Queensland from New South Wales and is unfamiliar with the local Sunshine Coast area.

She is described as Caucasian, 150cm tall, slim build with grey hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing a white 'snoopy' t-shirt, red sandals, cream shorts and a black handbag.

Police are appealing for anyone that may have seen Anne-Marie today to contact police.
