A hiker missing at Wilpena Pound has been located safe, according to SA Police.
The elderly man was located just after midnight on Wednesday 31 August by SES volunteers. He was taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The man was reported missing yesterday afternoon when he left to hike towards the Wangara Lookout.
