HiTZ to open at Topline NextGen Cricket Centre

HiTZ Cricket, powered by BatFast, will open its second Australian location at Topline NextGen Cricket Centre in Bayswater North. This marks another major milestone for the global expansion of the world's first operator-less, AI-powered cricket training experience.

Supported in partnership with Cricket Victoria, the new Topline NextGen site will open in November, as the summer cricket season gets into full swing. Servicing cricketers in Melbourne's outer eastern suburbs, Topline NextGen is a critical regional hub for Victorian cricket, community programs and local talent development.

Since launching its foundation site at Junction Oval in St Kilda at the beginning of the year, HiTZ Australia has welcomed up to 1,500 players.

Designed for players of all levels, HiTZ gives access to tailored, technology-led training sessions supported by automated bowling, ball-tracking and video replays.

HiTZ Australia Chair and Global CEO of BatFast, Nick Hockley said: "The response to HiTZ's first Australian location at Junction Oval has been extremely encouraging. Strong engagement throughout the winter has demonstrated a genuine appetite for accessible, technology-enabled cricket training all year round.

"How people participate in cricket is evolving rapidly and HiTZ makes it easier for players of all ages and abilities to train, play and improve on their own terms.

"Topline NextGen is already deeply connected to the cricket community in Melbourne's east, making it an ideal partner and location for our second site. We look forward to bringing HiTZ to life there and giving many more players the opportunity to experience it."

Topline NextGen Founder, Neil Saligrama said: "We've already seen the positive impact of HiTZ since its arrival into Australia. As the home of HiTZ in Melbourne's outer east, HiTZ will operate in two lanes of our nine-lane facility and add a new dimension to Topline's offering.

"I know our players, clubs and coaches who use our facility are really excited to experience this world-class technology."

Cricket Victoria General Manager Government Relations and Strategic Partnerships, Dylan Prescott said: "Following the successful launch of HiTZ at Junction Oval last summer, we're delighted to support its expansion into Melbourne's outer east to give more Victorians the opportunity to engage with cricket in a new and exciting way.

"Cricket Victoria is committed to growing participation across the state, and partnerships like this help us connect more people with cricket."
