Home invasion and assault at Davoren Park, SA

Elizabeth Police are investigating an aggravated serious criminal trespass at Davoren Park this morning where a man was seriously injured, according to SA Police.

Just after 12.30am on Tuesday 12 June police were called to a home on Heytesbury Road after reports two men entered the home and assaulted the occupant.

A man inside the premises received numerous facial injuries and is being treated in hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Crime scene investigators attended the scene and seized a metal pole which is suspected to be the weapon involved in the incident.

The two parties are believed to be known to each other and this is not considered a random incident.
