Police are investigating an incident which occurred in Sydney’s south west overnight, NSW Police say.
Just after 9pm today, police and emergency services were called to a unit in Riverwood, after reports unknown persons entered a unit and produced a weapon.
A number of occupants were inside the home at the time.
A resident suffered a minor injury to the hand during a struggle with the persons, who left shortly afterwards.
The resident declined medical treatment and the injury is not considered life-threatening.
The other occupants were not injured.
A crime scene has been established and officers from Campsie Local Area Command have commenced investigations into the incident.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
