Detectives have charged a man following investigations into the suspicious death of a 75-year-old man at Fortitude Valley on November 12.
An investigation commenced after police attended an Alfred Street address at approximately 6.30pm on November 12 where the man was located with fatal injuries.
A crime scene was established at the address following the results of a post-mortem examination. Today (November 18) detectives from the Fortitude Valley Criminal Investigation Branch arrested and charged a 28-year-old man known to the victim with murder. He is expected to appear at Brisbane Magistrates Court tomorrow.
