Police have commenced a homicide investigation following a 58-year-old man being located deceased at Clayfield overnight, June 26.
Emergency services were called to an Oriel Road address around 8:15pm following reports of a man sustaining critical injuries.
Upon arrival, officers located the 58-year-old Clayfield man deceased at the property, as well as a large group of teenagers.
Officers also located a 15-year-old Clayfield boy nearby in Barlow Street and took him into custody. The boy and teenagers are assisting police with their enquiries.
A crime scene was declared at the address, and investigations into the man's death are ongoing.
Investigators are appealing to anyone who may have information that could assist, or who may have CCTV or dashcam footage from the area, to come forward.
