Police have commenced investigations into the fatal stabbing of a 35-year-old man in Chapel Hill, Queensland Police say.
Initial investigations indicate that around 9pm yesterday an altercation between a man and a woman—who are known to one another—has occurred at a residence on Fig Tree Pocket Road. During this altercation the man sustained a serious injury to the chest.
The man received medical treatment at the scene but passed away as a result of his injuries.
A 36-year-old woman was taken into custody and a crime scene declared.
