Homicide investigation, Underwood

Logan detectives have launched a homicide investigation after a 20-year-old man died at Underwood this morning (February 24).

Police were called just after 1am to Fermont Road following reports a man had been stabbed.

On arrival officers located a 20-year-old man unresponsive.

Police and emergency services attempted to assist the man, but he died at the scene.

The area has been declared a crime scene, as investigations into the circumstances surrounding the incident continue.

Detectives are appealing to anyone with information, CCTV or dashcam footage depicting a dark coloured SUV in the area at the time to come forward.
