Horsham forms link in Electric Vehicle Charge path

A new Melbourne-to-Adelaide electric vehicle charge path is now complete with the opening of an ultra-rapid charging station in Horsham.

The Horsham site is one of seven charging stations rolled out with support from the Victorian Government as part of a larger electric vehicle charging station network plan for regional Victoria.

Operated by Australian-owned charging network Chargefox, the Horsham ultra-rapid charging station allows electric vehicle owners to charge their vehicles with electricity sourced from 100 per cent renewable energy with up to 400 kilometers of range in 15 minutes.

The new ultra-rapid Horsham electric vehicle charging station is located on the Western Highway at 126 Baillie Street.

It joins two Tesla electric vehicle charging stations in Horsham which are located at 126 Wilson Street and at the Horsham International, 118 Baille Street.
