Hotel robbery at Queenstown, South Australia

Police are investigating a hotel robbery at Queenstown this morning.

Just before 2.45am Thursday 24 October two men entered the gaming room of a Port Road licenced premises. The men, allegedly armed with a knife and a metal pole, stole an amount of cash before leaving the pub on foot.

Patrols raced to the scene and established cordons while police dog PD Nero conducted an area search. Unfortunately the suspects were not located.

Both men allegedly had their faces covered during the robbery. One is described as 175-180cm tall, slightly overweight wearing dark track pants, grey hooded jumper, and a red coloured mask.

The second man had a dark complexion, was about 185cm-190cm, slim build wearing grey hooded jumper with white paneling on front.

There were no physical injuries. Police are investigating any links to another hotel robbery at Walkerville earlier in the night and investigations are ongoing.
