House damaged by fire in Casula

Inquiries are underway into the cause of a fire which damaged a home at Casula overnight, NSW Police say.

Emergency services were called to Buckland Road about 11.40pm (Sunday 31 December 2017), and found a house alight.

Fire fighters from Fire & Rescue NSW worked to control the blaze which caused significant damage to the home.

There was no one home at the time the fire broke out and there have been no reports of injuries.

A crime scene has been preserved until the morning when it will be examined.

The cause of the fire is still to be determined.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
