House destroyed by fire at Wellington

Investigations continue after a home was destroyed by fire in the state's Orana region over the weekend.

At 1pm Saturday (7 September 2019), emergency services responded to reports of a house fire at Walker Crescent at Wellington.

The blaze was extinguished by Fire and Rescue NSW however the house was partially destroyed.

Occupants of the house weren't home at the time.

Officers attached to Orana Mid Western Police District commenced an investigation into the incident and wish to speak with three children, aged between eight and 10 years old, who were seen near the house earlier in the day.

Investigations continue.
