House destroyed by fire - South Windsor

Inquiries are underway into a house fire at South Windsor overnight.

Emergency services were called to Wood Road about 1.35am (Saturday 26 December 2020), where they found the single-level home well-alight.

An 18-year-old man was the only person home at the time of the fire but escaped uninjured.

The house was destroyed.

Officers from Hawkesbury Police Area Command established a crime scene and are conducting inquiries into the cause of the fire.

Scene of crime officers and fire investigators plan to examine the home later today once it is deemed safe.
