A home has been destroyed and a man treated for smoke inhalation after a fire near Lismore, NSW Police say.
about 5.50pm (Monday 30 April 2018), emergency services attended a home on Bangalow Road at Clunes, about 18km northeast of Lismore, and found the home well alight.
Fire fighters attended and extinguished the blaze, but the home was destroyed.
A man was treated for smoke inhalation but did not require hospitalisation.
Officers from Richmond Police District are investigating; initial inquiries suggest there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the fire.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
