House Fire Elizabeth North

Police are investigating a fire at a vacant Elizabeth North house last night.

Just after 8.30pm on Tuesday 24 February police and fire crews were called to Laverstock Road, Elizabeth North by reports of a vacant house on fire.

On arrival they found the dwelling fully ablaze. MFS extinguished the fire but extensive damage had been caused.

There were no reports of injuries.

The fire is being treated as suspicious and investigations are continuing.

Crime scene investigators will attend and examine the scene in the morning.

The vacant property was also damaged by a suspicious fire on 12 January.
