House Fire, Hit-and-Run Probed in North Albury

Police are releasing CCTV images of a car, following an alleged hit and run and fire in the state's south, last month.

About 10.30pm on Thursday 6 November 2025, police were called to the intersection of Endeavour Place and Solander Street, North Albury following reports of a hit and run.

The 53-year-old male pedestrian suffered serious injuries to his femur and was taken to Albury Base hospital. The car allegedly left the scene.

Officers attached to Murray River Police District established a crime scene and commenced an investigation.

Police are also investigating a suspicious house fire, about 5am on Saturday 8 November 2025, on Bank Street, North Albury

Fire and Rescue NSW responded and the house suffered fire damage.

Inquiries have led Police to believe the two incidents may be linked.

As a result, Strikeforce Courseulles was established.

Police are releasing images of a car, and believed the driver can assist with inquiries to both incidents.

The car is described as a dark coloured single cab utility.
