Police are investigating following a house fire in Hope Island tonight, Queensland Police say.
Emergency services were called to an address on Crescent Avenue around 7.14pm where a residence was located well alight.
The property was destroyed as result of the blaze.
A man was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital with to burns to his legs, arms and torso.
Police are appealing for anyone with further information to contact police.
