House fire in Kentlyn

Police are investigating the cause of a fire at a home near Campbelltown overnight, NSW Police say.

Just after 8pm (Friday 3 August 2018), emergency services were called to Peter Meadows Road at Kentlyn, following reports of a house fire.

The house was found well alight, with firefighters working to extinguish the blaze.

Three occupants’ self-evacuated from the home.

A 78-year-old woman was treated for smoke inhalation and taken to Campbelltown Hospital as a precaution.

Officers from Campbelltown City Police Area Command established a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined; however, initial inquiries have led police to believe the fire is not suspicious.
