Hoylake Grove Reserve Playground Rebuild

Shoalhaven City Council is ready to rebuild the Hoylake Grove Reserve playground at Conjola Park, following the damage sustained during the Currowan bushfire and are seeking feedback.

A design has been created for the Hoylake Grove Reserve playground and will only take 12 weeks to be constructed, pending weather. Council are now seeking the community's feedback on the design, including asking residents if they would like to see a commemorative feature included.

Mayor Amanda Findley said she understands how important this playground is for Conjola Park and rebuilding the playground will aid in making the region stronger.

"I understand that the playground offers the opportunity for parents and their children to collaborate and engage with each other." Mayor Amanda said.

"That is why it is vital we rebuild this playground as soon as possible, to ensure the community doesn't lose this social hub in such an important time.

"Council is determined to see the Shoalhaven emerge from this bushfire and its impacts in a better, stronger and more resilient position." Clr Findley said.

Residents can head to Council's website, https://getinvolved.shoalhaven.nsw.gov.au/hoy-lake-grove, to view the concept photo gallery and to provide their feedback on the project.

The community has until March 20th to have their say.
