Human remains have been located in the Warawee Reserve bushland at Shale Road, Latrobe, Tasmania Police say.
Investigations are being conducted in relation to the identification of the deceased.
The remains were discovered on Saturday afternoon.
Police can indicate there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
