Hume City Council is bringing back its Meet the Mayor drop-in sessions, with Mayor Cr Carly Moore kicking the series off in Kalkallo on Friday 1 May.
Meet the Mayor is an opportunity for community members to meet with decision makers in a relaxed and open setting where they can discuss community issues, ideas or learn more about what's happening in our city.
Cr Moore will be visiting all 11 Hume City wards in the coming months, joined in each location by that ward's councillor. This week's session sees Cr Moore paired with Deputy Mayor Ally Watson, Councillor for Yubup.
To keep the sessions relaxed and accessible for community members, this year's meet-ups will be happening in coffee shops and cafes across the city.
Our first stop on Friday will be Fergusen Plarre's, 44 Toyon Road, Kalkallo from 10.30am - 11.30am.
