Police have uncovered a hydroponic cannabis set up in Ryde yesterday, NSW Police say.
About 12:15pm today, police from the Ryde Drug and Organised Crime Team executed a search warrant at a house on Wilsons Road, Pennant Hills.
Once inside the house, officers allegedly located an elaborate hydroponic set up containing over 100 mature cannabis plants and associated equipment used in the cultivation of cannabis.
The plants have an estimated potential street value of over $500,000.
A crime scene was established with specialist forensic officers in attendance.
At this stage, inquires into the matter are continuing and police are urging anyone with information to contact the Ryde Drug and Organised Crime Team or Crime Stoppers.
