Police are at the scene of a Currumbin Waters residence after a number of hydroponics cannabis plants were located, Queensland Police say.
Around 9.30am today police executed a search warrant at the Riverside Drive residence and discovered eight mature plants almost two metres tall in a room detached from the house.
The room was specifically designed with lighting and an irrigation system for the plants.
A 44 year-old Currumbin Waters man is assisting police with their enquiries.
Investigations are continuing.
