The International Bar Association (IBA) commends the appointment of Dinesh Dhillon, Co-Chair of the IBA Asia Pacific Regional Forum and a partner at Allen & Gledhill , as President of the Law Society of Singapore for the 2026 term.
The Law Society of Singapore has been a Full Member Organisation of the IBA since 1970.
A distinguished lawyer, Mr Dhillon co-heads the International Arbitration Practice at Allen & Gledhill. He was called to the Singapore Bar in 1995 and has been an officer of the IBA Asia Pacific Regional Forum since 2017. Mr Dhillon currently serves as the Chairman of Pro Bono SG and co-chair of the Legal & IPR Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (AmCham).
Regarding his appointment, Mr Dhillon said: 'It is an honour and privilege to be elected President of the Law Society of Singapore for 2026. I will do my best to serve the interests of our profession and community. I am committed to advancing the legal profession both locally and internationally, and welcome opportunities to collaborate with colleagues and friends from the International Bar Association. I very much look forward to strengthening the bond between the IBA and the Singapore legal community.'
