I’d Love Somewhere Warm: Melbourne Man Wins Lotto

A Berwick man, still reeling from his recent $700,000 TattsLotto win, plans to catch up on some much-needed sleep after a restless night spent in disbelief over his good fortune. He was among the four division one winners from Victoria in the draw held on Saturday, 4 May 2024.

The Melbourne man has confessed he was looking forward to a good nap after discovering his TattsLotto win late Saturday night and spending a sleepless night contemplating his prize.

“I kinda hope my eyes aren’t deceiving me!” the man exclaimed when speaking to an official from The Lott.

“It’s incredible. I still can’t believe it.

“I decided to check my ticket after the draw last night, probably about 10pm or 10.30pm.

“It said I had a win on the ticket, but I thought it might be division six or something.

“Then it told me I’d won $700,000!

“It was a bit of a shock. I did have a glass of whisky to calm the nerves.

“I think I only got about two hours’ sleep last night.

“I’m hoping to get a nap later today.

“I don’t know exactly what I’ll do with the prize, but I haven’t been on holiday for a while so perhaps I can take a holiday before making any plans.

“I’d love to go to Thailand – somewhere warm!”

The man’s winning ticket was a 36-game QuickPick entry.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4465 on 4 May 2024 were 14, 42, 26, 12, 29 and 5, while the supplementary numbers were 9 and 41.

Across Australia, there were seven division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4465 – four in Victoria, two in Queensland and one in New South Wales.
