On the 29th August 2019, Detectives from Burnie CIB arrested and charged a 28 year old man from the North West Coast with 132 fraud related matters. The arrest stems from a 12 month investigation into identity theft and fraudulent online consumer credit applications.
The man appeared in the Burnie Magistrates Court on the 30th August 2019 and was remanded in custody to appear at a later date.
