Image released after explicit sexual act in Hawthorn

Transit Crime Investigation Unit detectives are releasing a computer generated image as part of their investigation into an explicit sexual act in Hawthorn late last year.

Investigators have been told an unknown man attended the No. 74 tram stop on Glenferrie Road and performed a lewd act while directing his attention towards a woman about 5.30pm on 7 November, 2021.

The woman turned away and left the scene.

The man is described as Caucasian, aged in his 50s or 60s, approximately 172cm tall with short thin balding hair and a strawberry blond coloured beard down to his chest.

He was wearing a plain dark coloured t-shirt, black knee length shorts and runners.

Police have released a computer generated image of a man they believe could assist with their enquiries.
