Image released after taxi driver assaulted, SA

Police today released an image of a man they want to speak to after a taxi driver was assaulted last month, according to SA Police.

About 11.50pm on 4 June two men got into a taxi at Henley Beach, with one of the two passengers later getting out on Grange Rd.

Police will allege the second man requested the driver stop on Trimmer Pde at Grange, but then refused to pay and assaulted the driver before running away.

Described as being aged in his mid-20s, about 178cm tall, of Caucasian appearance with a heavy build and balding short hair, he was last seen running towards Pampas Court.

The victim did not suffer serious physical injuries in the assault.
