Images released after woman robbed at Seaton, South Australia

Police are investigating a robbery which took place at Seaton and have released images of three suspects.

At about 3.30pm on Sunday 13 January, a woman was walking north along Lawhill Avenue when she was approached from behind by three women. One of the suspects grabbed the victim's handbag and then hit the victim in her left shoulder with a hammer while another suspect grabbed the victim's mobile phone.

The trio then ran off in a southerly direction along Lawhill Avenue and were last seen heading down Glenburnie Street. The victim suffered soreness and bruising to her shoulder.

The first suspect is described as being of Aboriginal appearance with light brown skin, aged around 19 years, about 70kg with long dark hair and wearing a black singlet and thongs and carrying a hammer.

The second suspect is described as being Caucasian, fair skinned, slim build, aged around 19 years, with dark hair and wearing a singlet and shorts.

The third suspect is described as being Caucasian, fair skinned, slim build, aged around 19 years, with dark hair which was tied up in a bun and wearing a singlet.
