Images released following theft, NSW

Police have released images of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries following a theft and malicious damage incident which took place in Cambridge Park, in western Sydney, in February.

At 12.30am on Sunday 28 February 2016, a man got out of a taxi on Summerfield Court, Cambridge Gardens, and ripped off a CCTV camera installed on the taxi’s roof, before fleeing the scene with the camera.

Officers from St Marys Local Area Command were contacted and commenced an investigation.

Following inquiries, officers have released images of a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

The man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 25 to 30-years-old, of solid build, with short blond hair and a beard.

He was seen with a woman described as being of Caucasian appearance, 30 to 35-years-old, with blonde hair.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stopers, NSW Police say.
