Officers from VIPER Taskforce have recovered imitation firearms and ammunition while executing an arrest warrant in Carrum Downs earlier today.
Police were actively searching for a 45-year-old man who was wanted on warrant and subject to a Firearm Prohibition Order.
They had attended several addresses before attending Lats Road in Carrum Downs around 12pm.
The 45-year-old was located and arrested at the address and a search of the property was conducted under FPO provisions.
It is alleged police located seven gel blasters, a crossbow, knuckle dusters, ammunition and drugs.
A 41-year-old woman who was also at the address was also taken into custody.
Both have been charged and have been bailed to appear at Frankston Magistrates' Court on 10 January, 2024.
