This Watch and Act message is being issued for East Natimuk, Grass Flat, Natimuk, Quantong, Vectis, Vectis East, Vectis South.
- This update is to advise that the fire in the Natimuk, Quantong and Vectis area is now under control.
- Firefighters, emergency services and Powercor continue to work on the fire, treatment of fire affected trees and repair of powerlines.
- Residents should stay alert for dangerous trees and electrical hazards.
- The Wimmera Highway is open for all traffic through Natimuk.
- All roads east of the Wimmera River in the Quantong and Vectis area are open.
- Some local roads remain closed due to safety concerns. Continue to obey all road signage.
- A recovery centre is open from 10am to 4pm daily at 62 Main Street, Natimuk.

This Watch and Act message replaces the Watch and Act issued at 12:55pm Monday 12th January 2026.
