We're realigning the Bay Trail shared path at the Ricketts Point north carpark in Beaumaris to provide a safer route for cyclists and pedestrians.
This short section of the shared path will be closed from 20 March for one week, weather permitting, while we complete these works.
The realignment will improve safety and visibility along the shared path, adjacent to the pedestrian crossing.
As part of our improvements to the area we'll also be installing a drinking fountain with dog bowl and a bike hoop near the public toilets.
During works, cyclists will be directed to dismount, and all pedestrians will be diverted behind the existing bluestone wall.
The carpark is anticipated to be closed for one day on 24 March while we undertake line marking to improve parking.
