Ipswich police have charged a man following investigations into a reported indecent act incident in Ipswich on 23 April.
It will be alleged the man wilfully exposed himself to a woman in a stairwell in the CBD area, before leaving the area on foot.
With assistance from Safe City Ipswich cameras the man was identified and arrested on 24 April.
He has been charged with one count of indecent acts in any place to which the public are permitted access and has been remanded in custody to reappear in Ipswich Magistrates Court on 25 May.
Ipswich Officer in Charge Senior Sergeant Tyson Brock said community safety remains a priority for police and is urging anyone who witnesses suspicious or concerning behaviour or has had a similar interaction to come forward.
"Crimes of this nature are disturbing, and reporting offences of this nature can be difficult, so I want to acknowledge the bravery of the victims who have come forward," said Senior Sergeant Brock.
"Our officers continue to work tirelessly to ensure those responsible are brought to justice.
"We encourage anyone who has information or who has had interactions of a similar nature to come forward either directly to us or anonymously to Crime Stoppers."
