Police are appealing for public assistance and dashcam vision as inquiries continue into a fatal crash on the Mid North Coast earlier this week.
Emergency services were called to Wingham Road, Wingham, about 3.45pm last Monday (3 November 2025), after a truck and sedan collided; the truck then hit a house.
Officers attached to Manning/Great Lakes Police District found the driver of the truck – a 42-year-old man – had died at the scene.
The other driver – a 40-year-old man – was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for minor injuries before being taken to Port Macquarie Base Hospital for mandatory testing.
A crime scene was established and officers from Crash Investigation Unit commenced inquiries.
The orange Holden Commodore sedan and the truck have been taken for forensic examination.
