Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man who absconded from Palen Creek Low Custody Correctional Centre, in the Scenic Rim area, near Mount Lindesay and Mount Barney, in the early hours of this morning, May 27.
The 38-year-old man, pictured, is described as 186cm tall, with a medium build, blue eyes, ginger hair and a fair complexion.
He also has a tribal-style tattoo over his left shoulder and crown-style tattoo on his upper right arm.
He is believed to have been wearing a green tracksuit or khaki work gear.
