Inquiries continue after attempted robbery at Moss Vale

Police are appealing for public assistance following an attempted armed robbery in Moss Vale overnight.

About 11.40pm (Thursday 23 May 2019), a 31-year-old woman was walking along Railway Street when she was approached by two men.

One of the men allegedly threatened the woman with what's believed to be a pocket knife, demanding her wallet and mobile phone, before fleeing the scene empty-handed.

The men were last seen running along Railway Street towards Spring Street.

The woman was not physically injured.

Officers from The Hume Police District attended and commenced investigations.

Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information about the two men to come forward.
