Inquiries continue; man stabbed another in custody at Seven Hills

A crime scene has been established after a man was stabbed by another man known to him at a home in Sevens Hills overnight.

Emergency services were called to a home on Bulah Way, near Best Road, Seven Hills, just before 10pm (Sunday 15 December 2019), after reports a man had been stabbed.

Officers from Blacktown Police Area Command attended and found a 45-year-old man with stab wounds to his back.

He was taken to Blacktown Hospital by NSW Ambulance paramedics for treatment. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Following inquiries, police arrested a 37-year-old man at a home on Debby Way, Seven Hills, about 10.50pm (Sunday 15 December 2019). He was taken to Blacktown Police Station, where he is assisting officers with their inquiries.

As investigations continue, anyone with information to assist investigators is urged to come forward.
